The Coolest Episode that will Never Be

If only I were in NYC right now, we could do the coolest episode of JD FTW ever! Somebody’s gone and setup a real-time HD video link between the two cities. Pfeiffer could moon me from 3,000 miles away! Ah, well.
Quick update on episode 4 - a very late night at the office kept me from doing any work tomorrow. Its going to be next week, folks 
JD FTW Updates

Hey everybody, Dave here. I have two big things to tell everyone - one good and one bad. I’ll get the bad one out of the way - there will probably be another delay this week. Episode 4 has some major audio issues, and I’m not equpied to deal with them. I’ll either have to release it as-is (probalby the best option), or try to find software, learn it, and clean everything up before releasing the episode (which would take forever). So I’ll try to do what I can and get episode 4 out within the next couple of days!
Now the good news - as of this morning, Joe is in Europe! This should make for some great episodes, and they contain an even bigger, even better suprise that I’m not going to spoil for you. We’re also about to open the JD FTW talking stick up to others, so if you’re going somewhere (or if you want to pick a place), get in touch! I have European cities available right now if you’d like to play.
So that’s it - I hope everyone has a fantastic Memorial day weekend, and always remember that life is an adventure. So videotape it and put it on a blog.

Here it is! Sorry for the delay, but the long-awaited third episode is finally up. Also, I realized that this episode was posted in a weird aspect ratio earlier, but that has been corrected. I think one other episode is also stretched out, but I think I’ll leave that as an adorable earmark for our history. (Some day we’ll look back and say “hey - remember when we posted that one episode in the wrong aspect ratio? Awww…”) Enjoy!

Two episodes in and we miss a week - I know, what a hack operation. The good news is that two shiny new episodes are actually in the can RIGHT NOW, and I should be getting them up on the “regular” Thursday schedule. (Regular because I did it twice - right.)
Get excited! Some of the exciting excitment coming your way:
- New cities!
- New adventurers!
- Drinking!
- What happens when the place doesn’t exist?
- The first role reversal!
They should be a couple of good ones, so check back in a day or two.

Hey everybody - first of all, thanks to everyone for the comments, and for the favorites/comments on Vimeo!! I’m very proud to see this thing gaining a little following, even within our group of friends.
I just finished what will (hopefully, if the video turns out right) become MY first Joe and Dave for the week outing, and I’m pretty jazzed up about it (JAZZED). Even if the video doesn’t turn out usable, it was a lot of fun, and I’m happy to say that we’re taking big strides towards the one big request thus far: more footage of the place. I ended up having to do this last J&D FTW outing with a friend’s digital camera (as I couldn’t find tapes for my camcorder), but if the video turns out okay I think it’ll be a great one!
Also, just to point this out real quick, if you click on any of the cities in the above map, you can find a link to the episode that was shot there! (Very exciting, I know - please try to keep yourselves under control.)
So, again, thanks for everyone’s support, and keep it up! Joe and I look forward to making millions off of this somehow!

Dave Travel Blog: Iowa City

Hey everybody, Dave here. I’m sitting in a coffee shop in Iowa City, putting this site together. Behind me there is a group of highschoolers having a handwriting competition (high drama, no doubt).
I’m traveling today, but only over night, and we’re visiting Maria’s family, so no J&D FTW stops on this trip. Joe, on the other hand, is in New York right now, and he should be off on a J&D FTW run that messes with the formula a little bit (look for it in episode 3).
I figure Joe and I can use this blog to post episodes and updates about the show, but also blog when we’re on any travels and we have something interesting to report back (like handwriting contests).
